Every voice became a battle cry,
The streets forgot the language of the law,
For rage alone replaced respect and awe.
Anarchy comes with promises of chains undone,
Declaring every battle, already won.
Yet where no rule survives and none obey,
The weak are the first to fade away.
The torch that claimed to bring the dawn,
Left homes in ashes, and trust withdrawn.
No court remained to hear the plea,
No shield for truth, no liberty.
They stood with shields, yet bore the storm,
As fury gathered, loud and warm.
A violent mob, in anger blind,
Left law and reason far behind.
Still battered, bruised, they held the line,
To guard the peace, a solemn sign.
For when protectors fall to rage,
The rule of force replaces the page.
For freedom is not chaos unconfined,
Nor power seized by the loudest mind.
It lives where rights and duties stand,
Protected by a nation's hand.
